Financial Responsibility

Washington's reckless runaway government spending is ruining our economy, causing record inflation, and crippling working families. While Washington's fiscal failures cannot be overstated, fiscal responsibility at home is paramount to protecting future generations.

That's why I support legislation like the South Carolina Taxpayer Transparency Act, allowing for an easy-to-use, searchable online database to view every dollar that is being spent by the state. This would include that by the SCDOT, which I believe needs a complete audit to ensure our dollars are effectively being spent on roads, not wasted bureaucracy, and have real accountability for the decisions being made within the agency.

Knowing that the fruits of our labor is just that and not the government's, I will also continue the fight to reduce income taxes for ALL South Carolina taxpayers and make us truly competitive with our Southeast neighbors. I also support exempting veterans and first responders from paying state income tax. 

Freedom

As South Carolinians we have a unique heritage of independence. I pledge to serve the residents of my district with the same honor and vigor that I gave my country for 8 years when I served in the 10th special forces and as a paratrooper. You have my word that I will be available and be a voice for you.

Democrats have demonized the entire law enforcement community as corrupt and immoral. The Founding Fathers wanted the American people to be responsible for defending our homes and our liberties. Shall not infringe is the end of the debate not the beginning. I will tirelessly defend the 2nd Amendment rights of the citizens of South Carolina. Our Freedoms come from God, not government. I am against all government mandates implemented during the COVID era. 

Family

As a husband and father of three school-aged children, I know the challenges parents face today as liberal think tanks attempt to promote their political agendas in our school curriculums. I will never stop fighting to empower parents and ensure parental rights in education, including real school choice and making sure education dollars follow the child.

The radical left is attacking the nuclear family every chance they get. I'll be damned if their efforts affect South Carolina families. I give you my word that I will always fight for traditional American values.
